CIVIC LANE
Indian regional carrier Fly91 has placed a major order for 40 ATR turboprop aircraft as it expands connections between smaller cities. The strategy reflects a wider aviation question: travellers often live much closer to regional airports but have far fewer direct destinations available. Smaller airports can offer quicker access and shorter queues, while larger hubs usually provide greater choice and frequency. Regional aviation could therefore change how millions of people choose between driving, rail and flying. This poll identifies which advantage would matter most to travellers personally.
