A researcher reports AI-assisted break-ins at company websites. What would you do first to protect your own accounts?

RESEARCH LANE Reuters reported on 19 October that a hacker had used AI agents against company websites. The account drew on research by Snorre Fagerland at NorForge. He reported successful break-ins affecting more than 100 company websites. The attacks took place before the report was published. The companies named in the reporting described different impacts and responses.
