Shopping for a new ride, what should I get?

Anything but Japanese or Chinese crap. Can't lose with a European car, but you'll pay more money for upkeep. This is coming from a trained mechanic. But Chinese and Japanese cars are crap and fall apart. Also, don't go electric. It's a dying market.
